quorum is required for both HAM as well as EGM
yes sir quorum is required for both the meetings
however private companies may make. quorum recquirement. in its AOA which prevails over the provisions of CA, 2013
QUROM for general meeting in case of private limited Company is restricted as per the provisions of Articles of Association.
But as per Section 103 of the Companies Act Qurom is applicable both for public and private Company
