Question relating to company law

can we pass the company law paper(old syllabus) with the books already we have by comparing it with the new act.

is the theory be same or old material will be completly useless and we have to buy new material?will there be much difference?

i found a article describing the diff: b/w new act and old act in caclub.is this sufficient for exam.can anyone explain?
