Query regarding Tender

Dear Sir,

Suppose we r participating in auction & for that we have to pay Rs. 500/- for each auction for that Tender expenses. Will we have to pay tax under Rcm & afterwards can we take itc on that tax amount.

Please guide me.....

tendering charges is liable under RCM at 18% and as the same is incurred for furtherance of business, the said RCM is entitled for ITC

Submission of proposal by Bidders (Contractor/consultant/company) as per Guidelines mentioned in RFP documents of tender is filling up of tender. As per latest norms, evey Tender inviting authority (Govt officer of any Dept) has to upload RFP documents on CPP portal (eprocure.nic.in) where Bidders submit copies of their proposal online. The authentication of documents is done by DSC. Tender filling consists of submitting 2 proposals. 1 is technical other one is financial. If a bidder qualifies technical round only then financial proposal is opened. source
