I started my articles from 1st june 2013.Till 25th march 2014 i had utilised 14 leaves.I would like go for the industrial training in the last year of my articles. Please tell me how many leaves i can get for final preparation. In industrial training it is said that only 2 months leaves are given for preparation but an article student can utilise 6months of leave in total. Can i claim for total 6 months leaves or can utilise 4 months of leave before joining industrial training

and as per regulation 56 industrial training shall be recieved from member of ICAI holding COP under whom should i register.what could be the designation of such CA in that industry who is eligble for industrial training whether internal auditor or statutory auditor

Please provide information in detail.

Dear Harish

You are in the Very first year of your atricles training.

You can very well plan ahead and join industrial training at the final year.

Regarding exam leaves, its at the discretion of the Company in which you gonna join.

The Designation of the CA under whom you ll join can be anything such  as CFO,Internal Auditor, Manager -Finance & Accounts etc... (it is immaterial actually) but definetly cannot be the statutory auditor.

Hope this solves your query.

Thank you for ur concern

so such CA may or may not hold certificate of practise but should be a continuos member of ICAI for more than 3 yrs.Is it that?

Yes you are right that 3 Yrs Criteria is there.

A CA in employment(Full Time) cannot hold COP. That would amount to Professional Misconduct.
