I want to know that whether i can take transfer or not, if I have to shift from one to another city (JHANSI to GWALIOR) to take care of my grand parents {(as per para 12 of announcement on transfer of articles of ICAI dated 19-05-2009) Termination of articles be permitted on such other justified circumstances as may be deemed genuine by the Council.} as well as study... is this a justifiable ground? I have completed 2 years & 2 months of articleship... PLEASE REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...

YOU CAN TAKE TRANSFER ONLY IF DISTANCE BETWEEN JHANSI AND GWALIOR IS MORE THAN 50KMS. MOREOVER WHILE TAKING TRANSFER YOU WILL HAVE TO PROVIDE INSTITUTE THE PROOF THAT YOU HAVE SHIFTED.
