RCM is applicable for hiring motor vehicle being service provider in the capacity of individual and receiver to be a company or corporate according to the NTN.DT.30.09

my client is providing car on hire basis to customers
currently gst is paid at 5%

5% rate is for RCM. but in your case RCM is not applicable as you are providing services to customers and not to company.
