QUERY - FORM 108 - NO OF DAYS SERVED

DEAR FRIENDS,

I have already submitted my Form108. I had taken a transfer in between my articleship and hence the no of period remaining to be served as per the ICAI letter was 2 yr 11 m & 6 days . However inadvertantly I have put in the form the period as 2 yr 11 m & 3 days.

Could anyone please tell me what action will ICAI take in this regard. I have actually served a period of 2 yr 11 m & 12 days. Will ICAI ask me to serve again for three days or will a letter of clarification from my Principal regarding the extra 12 days suffice.

Also i still have lots of pending leave i.e. i had not taken the whole 182 days leave so will ICAI adjust the three days with the leave not taken.

u actly worked for 2 yr 11 m & 6 days but by mistake u mentioned the period served in the form as 2 yr 11 mths & 3 days...you may recieve a letter from icai that ur 3 days articleship is pending bt if that happens u can reply to icai that u served the whole period bt by mistake u wrote 3 days short in d form & to support that ur employer's signed letter confirming the same should also be submitted....also icai might adjust d same with ur leaves in credit.
