query about capital profit & capital losses !

Capital profits and losses are those which cannot be recognised to be pertaining to one year.......and to be spreaded over to a substantial utilisation period......like they may be used to increase/decrease the asset value...depending on the situation........the words are variedly used in AS-9,10,13,14.....etc.....
