I recently completed my articleship and submitted the Form 108, but today i got a letter from the institute that when I filled up Form No 112 regarding the additional courses I was required to submit a certificate from the ISCI stating that was pursuing CS. And i forgot to submit that certificate. And due to this reason my articleship completion has been halted.
Now the ICAI wants me to submit the Certificate(which I can easily, as i have it with me) and a Condonation Letter along with a reason as to why I did not submit the Certificate. Now my problem is that what should I give as a valid reason as to why I did not submit it. Cause I submitted Form No 112 in 2013 and now its 2016(so i was late cannot be a justified reason).
Can i give a reason that i was not aware of this rule and hence i did not submit it. And more so I am not pursuing my CS. Please advice me as to what can I do. And will this cause an issue regarding my Article completion certificate?
