i m selected in both pwc nd bmr advisors for articleship bt i m a bit confused regarding selection of the firm.On one hand,pwc comes under big4 audit firms so i can get mnc exposure(i have opted for stat. audit) and on the other hand,bmr is best tax firm so i can get specialisation in dt or idt. please advise me regarding the matter...which would be better considering future prospects?? i m interested in both stat. audit nd tax(that is i can do any).. thank u in advance

PWC makes you a brand. So go for it.
Go for bmr, as u can have good exposure in tax both direct and indirect.. Besides when u practice tax in your articleship and have a good grip u can very well start ur own practice after completing CA final...
Ofcourse PWC u will get a brand, and they help u to become an expert in a particular area alone... and as days pass it becomes monotonous.. whereas in the case of tax it will be quite intersting and loads to learn, its just my suggestion, u decide.. good luck
Go with BMR as u will get experience in dt and idt....PWC is , of course, best among all.......but u can join pwc even after u complete ur articleship..... Once u gain good command over tax..... u will get job anywhere....... Focus on what I am saying......
Being an ex pwcaite, i recommend u pwc for sure. U can really get fantastic exposure. Its all the way how u take it up in a big four.

Both have their own advantage. I aggreed with rahul bansal view. You go for bmr in explore in dt n idt might be you get the chance to international tax. In all this you will not fill bored. But same time in audit aftrt 1 year you will not feel good. Being ex pwc I would suggest go with bmr and finished you articleship and after you will get the job any big 4

There is no limit to apply for articleship
There is a timelimit of 3 mnths after your result. After which if u register than it ll skim ur final attempt only.

Remember one thing in life,
Given 2 choices if u have to take a Decision then better Go for both.Dont compromise any of them.
My opinion is go for BMR for 1 year and take transfer to PWC later where ur interests will be fruitfully realised.So u vil never have to go back and think abt any left choices and regret for the same.

Depends on area of interest:
PWC will give you freedom going places working on deadlines traveling adventure, etc.....
Whereas BMR give u exposure for taxation which mean if you are interested or rather planned doing Practice after being qualified....
Both the field Audit and Taxation are dynamic, scenario keeps changing, nothing is monotonous.....unless u r disinterested.......
Go for BMR....Big4 will run after you later on....
