Puuchase calculate

One of our client ask my principal to calculate purchase amount for march month. I want to know how this be calculate. 

I mean that client always told to my ca that tell us every month for next month purchase amount we should purchase. 

How this calculation be done. 

Say how may month purchase be estimated at april end and so on
