Purchase of equity shares by a company - form 61a

Tax queries 603 views 1 replies

Shares issued by a Company for amount exceeding Rs.1000000/- are treated as transaction under SFT and form 61A is to be submitted.

If a private Compnay purchases shares of another private company from the shareholders, does the transaction attract the provision of 114E and is treated as SFT?

Not directly issued by the Company, so not applicable.
