purchade printer with gst bill

i had purchased a printer in bank for RS 16000+3000gst.shopkeeper toldrate only 16000 but he included gst in it. shopkeeper told that amount included as gst RS 3000 will be refunded to u in bank gst .is that possible.

No refund. Only you can get itc, if proper invoice is issued against your gstn.

No.. Gst will not be refunded to bank a/c.

It is an incorrect statement by the supplier. What options you have are :-
1. Give the supplier your Gstn and ask him to give you the input credit.(mostly preferred option)

2. You don't consider the input and capitalise the printer in your books for Rs.19,000.

The shopkeeper or any taxable person cannot raise the Tax Invoice inclusive of GST (As per Section 31) , hence ask your supplier to issue you a Bill 16000 + 3000 GST.
