is it mandatory to file PTEC return? and is it possible to pay PTRC of previous year at one time? or should i have to pay monthly for all 12 months of previous year?

PTEC return should be filed if income exceeds the prescribed limit and have to pay 2500 rupees annually.

My liability of PTRC is for F.Y, 2020-21 and I wanted to know that is there any provision for one time payment for the previous year?
Yes it can be paid but Interest might be imposed for late payment

PTRC returns shall be filed on monthly basis for 1zt year of registration. Yes,practically I can pay once instead of 12 different challans.
There is no provision for one time payment in the law but being an expert with profession tax assessments, I know how this can be worked out.
PTEC - Only payment is to be made. There is no return.
