Professional Tax Deduction with multiple employers

Professional Tax of Rs.5440/- was deducted by 3 employers during the financial year While filing ITR, system is mentioning that "Maximum deduction of Professional tax u/s 16(iii) can be claimed of Rs. 5,000.". I am unable to fully claim the deducted amount. Can't we claim the fully deducted professional tax by the employers while filing ITR.

No. Maximum PT payable cannot be more than 5K.

PT deduction allowed on payment basis. There is no such limit. Last year, we took 7000 deduction for 2 assessees which processed as it is
