In Mgt consultancy and other services we have (xxvi) Insurance Financial Advisory Services under IRDA. Does it include 1. Insurance Agency 2. Advising policies for fees.
I think these(xxvi) services are to Insurance cos. Therefore above services to prospective insurance holder are not included. But I am not sure

Q3. CA members were allowed to apply for registration for category IV Merchant Bankers and act as Advisor or Consultant to an issue. By regln 3(2A) of SEBI(Merchant Bankers) Regln,1992 w. e. f. 9th Dec, 1991 CAs are not allowed to register.
But in defn of Mgt consultancy... pt(xix) is still their=" Acting as advisor or consultant to an issue" So with above SEBI's regln this pt is nullified or else is still valid practically, and ONLY registration is not allowed, Advising n consulting is allowed.
