A foreign company is incorporating a private limied company in India. The promoters and subscribers are the company, and two other foreigners. One of the promoters and subscribers wants to transfer one number share to the company. What are the procoedures and what documents are required for this transfer? Could somebody help me on this matter.

In case an Indian entity wants to transfer its shares to foreign entity, it has to file Form FC-TRS with RBI before approval of transfer. After filing of For FC-TRS with RBI through Authorized Dealer, the Company can approve transfer the shares.

The revised consolidated FDI policy is attached for consideration. It details the documents required for filing of Form FC-TRS.
