Hai Guys  today  i wanted to discuss the topic on Poverty and illiteracy.

Everyday we will see on roads, near temples, railways stations and somany places with beggers..and some places people fighting for single plate of food..and their houses sorry huts we can say.they don't even have a pakka house..resides near the canal with full of waste..and offcourse they don't even reside in single place..because government make them vacate the places..

See the above photo..is People of India should live like this???

When comes to villages several farmers having land of 1 acre and less..too are being taken by the govt on the basis of SEZ..

i heard some where that The poor becoming poorer and the rich becoming richer!!..is it correct way of democracy..with all such problems lack of money somany people are dying without food or may be non payment of loans  etc..but the root cause is Poverty..and

coming to Malnutrition..this is also from poverty..lack of money the poor people try to eat what they get..with that..somany kids are hospitalised..

See India tops in it..

What could be the solution guys..?? Will the Vision 2020 of Abdul Kalam can be achieved??

Common Guys let us discuss this..we are the youth of the country who can change the Situation..plz plzz..

Ya what sasanka saying is absolutely correct.

Situation is even worst.

Actually I am seeing a live example in my city only.

We're talking about people living near canals & riverbanks.

The Gujarat Govt. is nt letting them do that too.

Coz in the name of development "Sabarmati River Front Development" a lot of slums near that area are put to earth.

And just yesterday there was a confference on that in the presence of Anna Hazare & me too went there.

And he said I'll not let it happen.

"35 saal se main ghar nahi gaya hu lekin in logo ko me inke ghar dilvakar rahunga"

the topic u hv raised is very good.......my personal opinion is, the whole society is inter linked,if u wan 2 chnge  things it will affect other things on the other hand.....its like a chain.......

@ U S Sharma and Rajesh...those cartoons were nice...:D

but as this is a very serious topic we should consider it with utmost importance...

Sasanka is very right wen he says that the rich are becoming richer and the poor are becoming poorer...

Since the time wen India got her independance this situation of poverty is becoming more and more pronounced..

We get many examples where the affluent section of our society is increasing their wealth day by day and the comparatively deprived section are still exploited and robbed of their basic necessities...

Today in India we find a major portion of the population within the age group of 20 to 45...which means that a big portion of the country is constituted of the working class...but we are gradually proceeding towards a situation where this will lead to a saturated situation and as a result we are also facing the challenge of educated unemployment...

In the recent years we have also seen that most of the children of our country are receiving primary education but the lack of finance and proper funding their higher education is hampered for which they dont find adequate employment...

So we see that although the governmet is indeed trying to enhance the condition of our people the perpetual problem of poverty is again pulling them back to the same place from which they had started..

As Vijay has rightly mentioned Shri Anna Hazare in this context i feel very glad to know that there are still people like him who even at this age is fighting against the whole system in order to create a transparent and honest India for us..the future generation...we need more such people to eradicate this nightmare called poverty and scarcity completely from our nation...

@ Shumeetra Bhattacharya  :Our Political leaders are responsible of this. They all have hundred crores in their account at here and at abroad. Mostly from them are involve in curruption and scandles, the money was collected from the tax amount paid by the Indian Resident.

See the cartoons again and try to understand the feelings of cartoonist (I have not created that, but posted as it's represent a true factor of the topic).

@ rajesh..

hey iv indeed understood those cartoons my friend and i really appreciate it....

no hard feelings...:)

Hi all of you,

I thank to you all that u started discussing topics about situation of India

& would like to state something which i had read from some articles it

said that 70 % of Black money is transfer through transfer pricing system

& this prove that most of Black money is held by big businessmen & industrialist.

I m not saying that our poltician are not holding black money & neither i m saying that

i m defending them but i believe in any economy the system devloper are such industralist

& not poltician althogh they must be. Like say in America - it happen this way.

All professional people support by providing service to them which is not in the benefit of the Country

Thus somewhere we are responsible for such activities (I m not yet professinal but i might be future CA so im taking

the respnsibility.

The problem in our country is we don't follow our work & don't perform our duty, trying to offend other.

This make a total wrong system where no body is doing their job properly including the polticians.say for example Baba Ramdev who should have preaching yoga is entering politics he must take some advice from Anna Hazzare

- the man who is fighting courruption without entering politics.

We discuss on the issue but we never pledge that we will do our work properly.Atleast i cannot take pledge

because i know that i have to do bend in somewhere of my life.

All the comment is my personal view. i would appreciates if u provide me some better insight of the topic & correct

me where i m wrong

Thank & Regards

Everyone one of us feel the same like government is bad..government doesn't do anything for the people..how long we shall wait for the government..recently have everyone seen the postion in guf countries..people made a sensation by making president resign. In the same way..we the people if fight against the poverty as Anna Hazare did against the corruption.. let the problem has any link..but everything can be changed with the people power..but no one comes forward..Taj Mahal..a world wonder..beatiful view from river bank Yamuna

see..this is also just poverty..so many residing here..do they get any pakka houses permanantly? do this live peacefully at their oldage..i am sorry i am not creating the revolution..but without our people support no politician can live..example LOKPAL BILL.

I believe CMA PRALAY is right in saying it long chain & breaking it is really

a tough job.....

Everything is linked in this country..even corruption..but even anna hazare sir did a great job in defeating it..so what do u say for that..in the same, way..we just fight that..to spend the funds which are released to remove the poverty..and spend in correct manner..that will be fine..

ya u r correct but do u feel that u & i wil be able to fight the same

looking back to our family.

U r saying spending the fund meant for poverty in correct way is not the

only solution since there many problem in the country & i m not saying

that u have not come with solution infact it can be termed as best solution

but applying the solution is in hand of public & not on politicians.even burecrats

are people what i realy mean is that we have change our mindset of looking towards

our country.
