I didnt study maths so i jst know 4th I.e- (B) :P
The 14th question of accounts is in model test paper, It's all options are given wrong
Actual Depreciation charged will be 2050

1. Insufficient data. Impossible to find without sigma(y^2) which is needed to find out y standard deviation and sigma(x) to findout covariance.

2.

y = -3*x + 11

x  = -1.4*y + 4 now r = -squareroot(3*1.4) < -1 which is impossible  so the equations are in opposite order i.e.

x = (-1/3)*y + (11/3)

y = (-5/7)*x+22/7

r = -squareroot(1/3*5/7) = -0.4879 bxy = r*sigma(x)/sigma(y),, sigma(y) = squareroot(15)  root(15)/3*root(21/5) = sigma(x) implies root(7)  = 2.645

3.probable error = 0.6745*(1-r^2)/root(N) implies r^2 = 1-0.2*3/0.6745 implies r = 0.3323

4.I am not able to understand the question

5.7c2*5c2/2 = 105 (you select 2 items for the first group in 7c2 ways and select 2 for the other group from 5 remaining objects in 5c2 ways and the other three objects can be selected obly in one way from the remaining 3 objects. Now the the if the groups are considered, the fist and second group having same number of objects are indistinguishable so divide by 2!)

6.mean = 4 - 11/100 = 3.87 variance = 2.57 - (-0.11)^2 = 2.5579

7.the answer is 1. limx->0 of (1+x)^(1/x) is e so loge =1

8.r is coefficient of correlation so 0/8 what is the question???????

9. there are 4 possibilities for each man. so total no. of possibilities is 4^3 = 64. now no. of ways 3 men can be arranged in 4 hotals is 4P3 = 24 so probability is 8/3

10.let f(x) = root(x) now substitute 1-x in the place of x integral(f(x)) = integral(f(1-x)) (because the limits are 0,1 ) now add both integrals you would get I(f(x)) + I(f(1-x)) = 1 implies I(f(x)) = 0.5

12.Once again insufficient information. the other equation or variance of both the variables is needed to find out the correlation coefficient.

13.If it is thrown twice the probability of the sum is even is 5/9 ((2/3)^2 + (1/3)^2) the probability that it is an even number is 2/3  and probability of an odd number is 1/3 for the sum to be even either both have to be even or both have to odd.

14.the depreciation for the furniture excluding the furniture which is exchanged is 20,000-1,200 = 18,800 so deprecition on the furniture is 1880 so book value of the above furniture is 18,800 - 1880 = 16920 Assume the exchange took place in the middle of the year depreciation for 1200 = 1200 *0.05 so book value of exchanged asset = 1200*.95 = 1140

so book value of the exchanged asset = 1140+500 = 1640 depreciation on it for the remaining  year is 1640*0.05 so book value is 1640*0.95 = 1558 so total value = 16920 +1558 = 18478.

15.let 3+5x^4 = t noe dt = 20x^3dx so integral becomes root(t)dt  so the answer is 2/3(3+5x^4)^1.5

16. 10% with lowest expenditure means mean - 1.19*sd = 100-1.19*20 =76.2

10% with highest expenditure = mean + 1.19*sd = 123.8

hey i dint get  da 10 one could u make it more clear?

hey i dint get  da 10 one could u make it more clear?

0to1∫f(x) = 0to1∫f(1-x) (given formula too long to explain) now 0to1∫((√x)/( √x + √(1-x)))dx substituting 1-x in place of x so 0to1∫((√1-x)/( √1-x + √(x)))dx adding both becomes 0to1∫1dx = 1 but both the integrals are equal so each Integral is 0.5

Can anyone tel d ans 4 dis ...the ways of selecting 4 letters from the word 'examination'??...n how??

11c4

select 4 (r=4) from 11(n=11).dont worry about repeated letter as this is selection not arrangement
