tell your principal to pay you in cheque only.

Stipend must always be paid in cheque..... otherwise both parties may face dire consequences........

plz tell me what should i do now for past months i.e. august 2010 to dec.2011, plz sugest me nw ?

every CA knows that Stipend should be paid in cheque,but why he is doing so its not clear,

you can take a consolidate cheque for the period august to december 2011 from your CA  by paying cash to him ,at least by this you can justify your institute that the mistake has been rectified 

But vikas, matter is not of only 3-4 months.... it's 16-17 months..... i think forget the past.... now, do what suggested by all.... take stipend only in cheque..... for months you can... i.e. past 4-5 months.... past transactions can't be rectified now.....
