Is both parties in a contract promisee as well as promisor?

No ,promisor is a person who promises to do and promisee is the person who accepts it,when the offer is accepted it becomes promise and the person making offer is promiser & the person who accepts it is called promisee๐Ÿ˜Ž
but in a vedio , a sir told that that both offerer and offeree plays double role as promisor and promisee...As both of them promises to give some consideration ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

promisor is someone who makes a promise to a promisee(who receives the promise). Contract law teaches us whether the promisor is legally obligated to keep his promise. ... Often, you will see more than one promise being made. A person can be both a promisor and a promisee if he exchanges promises with the other party.

It sounds good๐Ÿ‘ than โ“๐Ÿ˜ง
