Yes, you can. 3 months extention you can serve after your exam.

because as i know a new syllabus student who has 3.5 year articleship tenure gets his attempt 10 months before his article period and

an old syllabus student get his attempt just before six months remaining for his article tenure

so as per me you can give your attempt [befikar(hindi)] without any tension

This was the information i know untill 30.11.09 and if there is any recent ammendments after that i don't know

For old students 3 yrs article ship, they can give exams in their last 12 motnhs serving period remains.. FOR 3.5 YRS , STUDENTS CAN GIVE EXAMS AFTER completing artcleships of 3.5 yrs including eligible leaves .

 IF LEAVES ARE IN EXCESS, THEN STUDENT HAS TO SERVE THAT MUCH PERIOD AFTER EXMAS BUT HE CAN GIVE EXAMS AFTER 3.5 YRS FROOM THE DATE HE STRTED THE ARTICLESHIP.
