Hello everyone, this is kanaka swetha rudra from hyderabad, I've finished my b.tech recently but C.A was what I always wanted to become, I know that I'll have to enroll for CPT, I'll do that soon so that I can take it in december 2009, but I don't know what to do next, can anyone make me understand this new scheme??

See,suppose u clear CPT this Dec,,u will hav to register for IPCC..after this,u will have to prepare and attempt the IPCC(grp 1 or 2 or both) in November,2010.During this,u will have to successfully complete ur ITT.(Information Technology Training)..

U will have to clear atleast grp 1,to be eligible to start the articled training.The training is of 3 year's duration.During the last 6 months of training,u may appear ur Final Examination.
I advise u to read the students section of www.icai.org ,as most of ur doubts wil be solved automatically.
At least 4 years,after CPT.

Infact Science Background students do well in CA with their logical anlysis being strong.
With some coaching and understanding of concepts Science students can really do well
