 just i passed cpt in feb 2008. according to me,own preparation makes us a qualified person.

4 steps should be followed to prepare CA Exams:

        1. Understanding with ourself

        2. Gathering information outside like reference materials

        3. Discussing with our seniors and good friends about Subjects

        4. Practising daily (focus on memory) this is very important.

going to coaching classes or not is subject to your capacity (just analyse your recent 12 th marks)

Hi Prateek.. You need tutions only if you want to understand the chapters you havnt learnt.. better trust urself... u would find that its not as hard as it looks..

and Most important thing is you should be very very confident about what you know..

U can prepare ur self..but if u feel difficulty in some subject..then ur can join classes only for that subject...Nothing related to ignou here..

i think you can prepare your self for cpt. It is not so much difficult level.

Prateek u may prepare in ur own or take coaching in private institutions. That is depending on ur capacity and ur confidence
