hey guys! i just finished my 12th.will be pursuing ca after one year of bcom after which ill do bcom in correspondence..and study for ca alongside..will i be able to clear ca in one go? how many years might it take if i put in sincere effort? and also after i clear cpt will i be given a seat in any college that offers pcc or will i have to find it and join myself?

Dear Apurva,

CA is not a full time course like Bcom....its A CORRESPONDENCE course...

This course is offered only by ICAI...

After u clear CPT..u can register to IPCC and should go through orientation programme for 1 year and also complete 100 hour computer training after which u can write IPCC exam...if u clear 1 group of IPCC( thre r 2 gropus) u should register for articleship with some practising CA (TERM OF ARTICLESHIP IS 3.5 YEARS)

You can write ur CA FINAL after completion of 2 YEARS of articleship.

If u r dedicated and work hard it'll take 4-5 years i think.

Now after completing CPT you can register for IPCC and go for Regular College When You Clears ur IPCC First Group Then only u need to join articleship. So Carry on Join Any College U Need But Don't Forget To Read For your IPCC Along With The Enjoyment You will have in college.
