Photography in marriage

Dear,

Please tell me one of my client is doing business of photography in parties and functions like marriage, birthday, inauguration etc

so my question is i will take his income in 44AD or 44ADA

Income from profession. Can opt 44 AD by declaring 8% or more of gross receipts.

Professional income cant be offered under 44ad.
you have to file normal itr with bs&pl

As it is not specified profession as per sec 44AA you can not file u/s 44ADA. hence you should go with ITR 3.

Go for 44ad and show profit 8%

How 44AD will be applicable it's not a business right??, it comes under profession but it is not a specified profession to apply 44ADA also. hence he should file ITR 3.

I agree with ramaraju. i had also mentioned it earlier. in this case the 8% deemed profit does not apply.

but he has to anyways maintain books of accounts.

Dr ajay has specifically asked if he can go for presumtive computation of business profit under 44ad or 44ada.

by zeroing in on the query i would say that in his case neither of the presumptive sections would apply.

Now the answer to your question, if you do mostly wedding photography(taking just an example), you are not doing any profession related to films.. and hence you dont need to show your income under 44ADA and pay taxes on 50% of your total receipts
