Hello Everyone,
One of my friend could not pay his tax returns in india of 2007-08 due to some personal and proffessional problems. He is Nri Living in australia. Actually he has a property in india for which he has to pay the tax every year. so please anyone give me suggestions that how he go about his pending tax. thanks for your reply in advance.

File his return now as belated return for 2007 - 08 can be filed by 31st March, 2010
he will have to pay interest and penalties for delay.. nothing else should be a cause of much concern
