PAN CARD OF ONE DAY OLD CHILD

 Its very simple task there is column no.14 i.e. of Representative assessee  which can be filled in such a case

and the child is treates as normal minor childs are treated and it dosent matters at time of majority 

IS IT NOT NECESSARY FOR MINOR TO GOT A NEW PAN CARD WITH HIS NEW PHOTOGRAPH AT THE TIME OF HIS MAJORITY OR HE HAS TO GET A NEW CARD WITH SAME PAN BUT WITH NEW PHOTOGRAPH?

THIS IS MY QUESTION.

 well the speed of imagination is growing very fast in every sphere of life ,

If it is possible pls provide any proof of this kind on news......according to me its a rumor

Refer Today's i.e. 05-01-2009 Gujarati News Paper- Mid Day Front Page. Mr. Sunil Shah (Vikhroli) has obtained PAN Card of his newly born Baby-Boy Master Jainem within 2 days. (Born on 02-12-2008 and PAN Card received on 04-12-2008).

THERE ARE LOT OF INSTANCES OF CHILDREN GETTING THE PAN CARD. LET US HAVE A LOOK AT CHILD WITH HIS OWN PAN CARD-

THIS IS NEWS PAPER HINDU AUG 9 2007 .

But i have seen one PAN card of a minor in which there is no photo.

i don't know how this can happen

WHY YOU ARE CONFUSED THAT CHILDREN CAN'T GET PAN CARD?

MY QUESTION IS THAT ON ATTAINING THE MAJORITY A NEW PAN CARD IS REUQIRED OR NOT?

HERE IS ONE MORE CHILD WHO GOT THE PAN CARD AGE 2 DAYS.

PAN CARD WITHOUT PHOT MAY BE A MISTAKE BECASUE PAN IN CASE OF INDIVIDUAL CAN ONLY BE ISSUED WITH PHOTO ON IT.

Congrat to the Indian Bureucrate,It's a Great Achivement on their part to avoid their other important social welfare/duties.
