My name is MD JAWAD MOHIUDDIN, s/o IFTEQUARUDDIN. I have been told that I cannot make a pan card if my name has initials MD in first or last name. All my documents from 10th standard leaving certificate to driving licence/aadhar card has this same name. I just want to know if there is any way I can get a PAN card without changing my name in any document.

If your all documents bear the same name 'MD JAWAD MOHIUDDIN', fill & submit Form 49 (PAN Application Form) to NSDL/UTI branch, your PAN will be issued with the same name.

I am trying to fill the form online but it says initials not allowed and I am not able to fill it online. So will it be done if I step in at NSDL branch or they will tell me the same initial thing?

Check whether you have entered your First Name, Middle Name and Last name correctly. If the problem persists you may need to attend any of the PAN centres in person and try to get your issue resolved.

My name is SK Imran Ali. I applied 2 times for pan .... firstly offline from pan agent and secondly online. Both times I rejected. In online i hv to summit forcefully the full form of sk i.e. Shaikh caz SK is not taking on site. I do not want to change my name as i completed half of my studies. And every where I write my name as SK Imran Ali ... It is also in my aadhaar card too. Please help. and suggest me

PAN Card also known as Permanent Account Number Card is basically a ten digit alpha numeric number, issued by the Income Tax. Hello i also faced the same problem but i have a solution 1. change your surname name in adhaar 2. Apply for Pan card with new surname in adhaar 3. Once you get the PAN card 4. again change the surname in adhaar according to you other documents like certificates and passport

My name on +12 is Mohammad Ghouse Pasha

My name on Btech : Mohammad Ghouse Pasha

Aadhar card : Mohammad Ghouse Pasha PAN CARD : Mohammad Ghouse Pasha

But in IT DEPARTMENT servers the name got registered as Ghouse Pasha Mohammad. Now i can't link adhar with Pancard as there is name difference.... What should I do now???
