29 May 2011In my pan card only my first name is displayed. So while filing ITR-4S have to write my full name or then name specified in PAN i.e just my first name.
Some one told me that I am suppose to write my first name only in ITR n that 2 in coloum of Last Name

It will be better apply for change in Name, and you will get modified PAN within 10 days...
Now come to your query..., You have to mention whole name First Name in first block and Last Name in last block... But, if you are going to file ROI through e-filling, for registration purpose, use only First Name....

you have applied pan card in different name than your real name,
amend your pan card or it will create probs in refunds, as all correspondeces and refund would follow the name of pan card.

FIRST THING IS THAT U SHOULD CHANGE YOUR PAN CARD N APPLY FOR CHANGE IN FUTURE U HAVE FACED SOME PROBLM REGARDING UR PAN CARD NAME SO PLS HAVE TO APPLY UR PAN CARD WITH CORRECT N FULL NAME N IF U FILLING UR ITR PHYSICAL WAY THAN WRITE FULL NAME BUT IF U FILL BY WAY OF E-FIILING THAN WRITE ONLY FIRST NAME

First register yourself on e-return filing portal, then check what name is displayed there..
then use that name in Return..
and also apply for correction in PAN card.

file ur ITR with full name and apply for correction in PAN as soon as possible.

As your record when u applyed for allotment of PAN card and got different after printing your name is wrong, firstly should be correction in your name in PAN Card after that mentioned your good name in filling for your return.
or,
Mentioned your present name as PAN and fill your returns, and correction in your PAN thereon.
