Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the tax implications of overseas money transfers from a son to his father in India. Repayments from a son studying abroad are treated as gifts and are generally not taxable in India. While there are no limits on receiving money in India via banking channels, it's crucial to prove the source of funds and ensure they are not subject to tax.

No. Treat the repayment also as gift.

Sir thank you for the reply is there is any limitations for the money transfer from overseas

Depends upon the rules of the overseas country from which the funds are transferred. No limit in receiving any money in India when transferred through any banking channel. Need to prove its source and that it is not taxable.
