Outstanding demand notice u/s 1431a and notice u/s 245 - inc

Please check your Outstanding Demand online on incometaxindiaefiling .gov.in portal in My account column .

Then apply for a copy of Intimation u/s  143(1) in Assessment Years in which it shows Outstanding Tax Demand.

Check your Intimation if it shows any Tax Demand.

Your Demand May be due to non receipt of Credit of TDS Deducted due to various reasons.

If intimation shows no demand and Income Tax Deparment Shows Outstanding Tax Demand then write letter to your Assessing Officer for the same and do Speed Post for retification along with all the copy of TDS Certifiacte and Tax Paid Challan if any. .

I found O/s demand notice under my login in IT website. I have applied for copy of intimation.

I am already outside country and cannot return back to meet the AO or make power of attorney for next 2 months. Please suggest me how i can communicate with AO staying here? Notice says i got just 15 days to meet AO.

Please write an letter to an AO and requesting him that since you are outstation you would be meeting him as and when you visit the city.
