Old tin number can use for new business

We already have a TNVAT tin number ,when i check now its active,

That VAT number mentioned in GST REGISTRATION AND HAVING ONE BUSINESS.

NOW WE WANT TO TAKE PETROL BUNK BUSINESS. CAN I JUST USE THAT TIN NUMBER OR ANYTHING ELSE?

Since you already have a TNVAT TIN number and it's active, you can use it for your petrol bunk business, but with a few conditions: 1. *Same business entity*: The TNVAT TIN number was obtained for your existing business. If the petrol bunk business is under the same entity (same proprietorship firm, partnership, or company), you can use the same TIN number. 2. *Same premises*: If the petrol bunk business will operate from the same premises as your existing business, you can use the same TIN number. 3. *GST registration*: Since you're already registered under GST, you'll need to update your GST registration to include the petrol bunk business. You may need to add a new business vertical or update your existing registration. 4. *Petrol bunk specific registrations*: Check if you need any specific registrations or licenses for the petrol bunk business, like a petroleum storage and sales license. If all conditions are met, you can use the existing TNVAT TIN number for your petrol bunk business. Additionally, you may need to obtain separate registrations or licenses specific to the petrol bunk industry.

Thanks sir,

I try to amend some details such as commodity, additional place of business, etc., but at a time can amend only one. I already reg with gst this tin number , If i cancel and take a new one means any issue sir?
