NRI AS A DESIGNTED PARTNER

NRI as a Designated Partner of the LLP:-

(1) documents required and whether they are to be notarized?

(2) what should be the present address in all the documents to be enclosed as the Fillip form does not allow other than Indian address for an NRI. Especially on consent form from NRI(Form 9)

(3) Any other documents to be enclosed as proof of present address?

Thanks in advance

Summary: To be a designated partner as an NRI, you need a notarized and apostilled passport and address proof. While the FiLLiP form requires an address, you should use your official overseas residential address for KYC, and ensure your LLP appoints an Indian resident as the second designated partner to satisfy the residency requirement. Always ensure all foreign-origin documents are properly authenticated as per international conventions.
