Amount deposited in NPS account will get deduction u/s 80CCD(1) which covers in 80CCE .
Total limit of 1,50,000.
however you can get deduction u/s 80ccd(1B) over 1,50,000/-. upto 50,000.
yes you can split amount and claim under 80C to the extent of 150000 and balance under section 80ccd (1B).
