hello plzzz someone guilde me how to start with direct tax subject for Nov 15 . which topic to do first and how to proceed further plzzz and how many months are needed for 2 nd group 1 st time reading noo coaching class taken . will appreciate d views and suggestions thanks.

Start with assessment proedure then heads of income till deduction chapters completely, assessment of various entities, dtaa, international taxation then finally TDS n penalty chapters. Daily pick 4 case laws from case laws book. While covering chapters, finish off supplementary books amendments portion. Minimum 20days & max 25 days requires to complete dt portion.

Else allot 3 or 4hours per day for DT. Rest of the hours for other subjects. While covering chapters from ur authors book...once u finish off one chapter say house property, immediately open pm n cover those questions of that chapter.

Thankyou kishir bhat. For ur valuable guidance . And how many months it shud req. For entire 2 and group . Have given my 1 st group .but not so sure bot d same.. So wanna plan strategy dat way before result whatsoever my position be of result can manage dat way later.. Hope u can guilds for dat too

I dont do well in this attempt too. Even am writing in nov15..me starting from tomorrow. See dont go from how many months requires n all..come in the reverse way i.e see now exactly 5months left right. Lets divide this..last two months for revision or last 40days. So, June July august is in ur hand. In this three months u have to finish off ur reading with perfection. Next...

In that three months..u have to fix urself to complete the portion. 3 months in ur hand..now per day how many hours u can read..minimum u have to touch 12hours remember. Max see how much u can. Divide the portion now...3parts viz..assessment procedure, heads of income & finally others. First assessment procedure, here see total how many number of pages are there n all..then see how many pages shud I have to cover per day basis. This plan helps u to knw us when we can finish off the syllabus else we never complete the syllabus.

Hope u have icai supplementary n case laws book. Total around 130 cases are there. Within 40 days u have to finish off case laws so per day pick 3 cases...after 40 days once again revision. Keep some days as grace days because some time ur health may make u not to study etc. So keep some 7 days as grace days.

If you are willing to appear for second grp of ca final just remember few things Your no of books should not exceeds one for any subject.. You have to ensure that all case laws mentioned in ICAI case law booklet should be in your tips as these are directly asked for atleast 16 marks and if you able to quote case law with deciding authority you'll get 2 marks easily only two marks are alloted for reasioning. Case laws related to conceptual clarity mention in between topics need also be remember if possible. You may refer summary module of ICAI along with the practical questions of practice Module to get practical understanding of concept...
