There is no response from ICAI which was sent by me as registration form on 23-05-2016.shall I wait for them or want to take further steps?

It has hardly been 5 working days since you've sent the form. The processing generally takes up some time. Wait for atleast 20 days and if still dont receive any communication you can check the online portal of ICAI for reprint letter. If nothing shows up even there, you should contact your nearest branch office.
after approx 15-20 days.. you can post your query on e-sahaayta portal of icai.

As everybody said, you should wait for at least 20 days but just in case you don't get any response thereafter, then you can check the status via the ICAI site and also download the registration letter from the same.
