Hi Guys m rupesh from Hyd.I joined my articles a month ago under CA sarang paani,my sir has got many clients but its like he appointed me in a pvt limited company named DFCL,which is one of d client of my sir. the co is very gud but its like m not able to get more exposure of different firms and different types of audit.I asked my sir to send me to diff client but he denied.my position is not like a article but a paid assisstant of the company.m really confused wat to do whether to chnge the firm or stay in it. there is a wide scope fr acounting in my Co bt no scope of diff audits. pl guide meh.. ask for different roles within the company you'r are serving.. may be that will be interesting. That way you will learn different functions inside the company.
My sir comes to the company once in a week so ders no one wid whom i can resolve my queries.
Hey boss! stop giving different reasons. I meant ask the finance manager/cfo/ceo of the company for a different role. And if your 'sir' comes to the company only once a week, please ask him when he comes!!! Or better, there somethings called telephone, email etc.. Don't give such lame excuses.
if you are not interested in work just take transfer from him and rejoin with another ca where you can get good exposure
@ ganesh, the problem is this guy is scared of even speaking for another role.. impossible that he will muster up guts to ask for transfer.. what would he say?
Even I was given such portfolio, wherin I was involved only in internal audits of pharmaceutical companies. After the work got repetitive I took a transfer within 6 months. My suggestion would be to take a transfer, but try to learn and captialize in the current assignment and MOVE ON.
