NO COACHING FOR FINAL

Thats very nice to study by self. There are lot of examples where stdent not only clear the exam but also in first attempt and that too with 35 merit. but my sufggestion is that if there is no financial crunch than dont do any experiment with the subjects. Reason is that many subject in final are subjective rather than objective by nature. isuggest you that if you have even 1% doubt regarding your acumen go for coachings.

IT means you want to talk about INCOME TAX of Final C.A. Actually I have recently cleared my Final C.A. in Nov'05 and got 65 marks in IT. In C.A. Inter also I have Secured 68 Marks. According to me, You should take following points into account :-

(1) Use the reference book of that author which you have used in your Inter C.A.
(2) Do comprehensive study of those chapters which are analytical and tricky or which are specically added in the syllabus of Final C.A.
(3) Do not skip any chapter at all.
(4) For Basic chapters like Income from salary or House property, you can concentrate only on important amendments and judgements rather than the provisions.
(5) Put emphasize also to solve the problems independently.
(6) Make a summary points in each chapter for last time revision.
In Short, in IT your base should be clear and try to know the section no. and Case reference if possible to get good marks. Develop an analytical mind and refer the subject atleast for 5 times for good understanding.
