New registration under GST

New registration not started yet; wait for its notification. Presently, migration of existing tax payer is to re-start from 1st June, 2017.

Registration process shall start in due course of time.

Procedure as under:

Step 1: Validate PAN, Email and Mobile No. in Part A of Form GSTREG1
Step 2: After successful validation as in 1, Application for Registration in Part B of FORM GSTREG1 along with specified documents.
Step 3: An acknowledgement for application in FORM GSTREG 2 shall be issued.
Step 4: The PO shall within 3 days issue a RC in Form GSTREG 6 or seek clarification in FORM GSTREG 3.
Step 5: If clarification is sought as above, the applicant shal within 7 days reply in FORM GSTREG 4.
Step 6: Within 7days of reply by the applicant If the PO is satisfied with the clarification, he shall issue the RC in FORM GSTREG 6 or else will reject the application in FORM GSTREG5.

Which is the official website for gst filing?

1. If you are a Taxpayer having received Acknowledgement Reference Number (ARN):

You should be able to download the Provisional Registration Certificate from "Download Certificates" at GST website from 27th June 2017.

2. If you are a Taxpayer, who has saved the enrolment form with all details but has not submitted the same with DSC, E-Sign or EVC:

You will receive the ARN at your registered email ID, if the data given are successfully validated after 27th June 2017.In case of validation failure (data like PAN not matching), you should be able to login at the same portal from 27th June 2017 onwards and correct the errors. You can refer the registered email for details of the errors.

3. If you are a Taxpayer, who has partially completed the enrolment form:

You can login at the portal on the above mentioned date and complete the rest of the form.

4. If you are not an existing Taxpayer and wish to register newly under GST

You would be able to apply for new registration at the GST portal from 25th June 2017.
