After filing for GST registration, one has to wait for ARN to get generated. After the generation of ARN number, GSTIN number will be received from the government within 3-5 working days. If you have not received the professional ID and password and if you have more than one VAT PIN for one PAN, provisional ID's will be issued in January. Else contact the helpdesk. They will check and let you know if the Id is issued. If no, contact the state VAT department.
