Hi friends!!!

I have cleared II group of Pcc in May 10 exams and have given the another one in this november itself and hoping that to be cleared. Though transfers are banned, still i want to take transfer from my current employer firm to one of the good chartered firms in top 25........as it's a firm wid a really limited scope....and i want to have a experience of big audits.

Some of my friends suggested me for the secondment as i'm left wid nearly one and a half years of articleship....

So, friends plz suggest me as what can be da best option for me..........and plz state, if in any circumstances t/f is possible, such that i don't satisfy any of the conditions mentioned in the latest regulation issued by ICAI relating to transfer..

Also, please comment on acceptance of secondment cases in BIG-4 or other top chartered firms!!

BIG-4's don't hardly take any articles on secondment basis...

u can try in othr gd firms...

thanx for the replies friends........but please tell me if transfer is possible with mutual consent....as my employer is also agreed to give me the transfer............but the main issue is how to convince ICAI.

y dont u try , write a letter and fill form 108 and 109 and sent it to the institute but do not leave your present firm and if your transfer is not accepted , institute will send a letter saying that you have to continue with the same employer..

if you leave your firm till the acceptance of transfer it will be considered as leave

i am not sure about secondment , i dont think too many employers will agree for that
