Hi Team,

I am software Professional i am working in a company and also i am earning through freelance work also . Freelance work i am doing is outside the country and i get cash in my hdfc account , Wether i need to pay TDS for this freelance earning ?? .. I am already paying Tax for my Salary account also .

If so can someone help me , How can pay this TDS. and also how much Percentange we need to pay ?

Mr. Elam

TDS means Tax Deducted at Source by the payer of the income from the income. You, being the payee of the income have to pay tax on the total income earned in the previous year as per the provisions of income-tax act applicable to a particular assesment year.

Thanks for the Information . My income from Frelance is around 5 lakhs . How much tax i need to pay ?? . How can i pay this tax ?
