In the present global market the need of GMCS is really necessary and ICAI has done a great job by making GMCS-I & II. We're professional and we've got to sell our services, but in our industry there's a rumour GMCS is just 30 days time pass, the honorable ICAI is just putting burden over the students. But in reality it is not correct.

Sir, the intention of introducing this course by ICAI is to equip the CA students to hone right skills and shape their personality. It may be true there are few sessions which may appear to be waste, but this cannot lead to a conclusion that the entire program is a time pass.
Satish sir you're correct. But in our profession there is lack of personality grooming and we need to groom that. I've met with a lot of people who do think that GMCS and orientation are meant to earn money by ICAI, look sir how harsh is the situation. But sir there's some positive thing in each things so I am trying to search that.
Yes, I agree with your observations sir, but unfortunately the institute is unable to correct some of the flaws in the system. The term accountability is becoming redundant and many stakeholders are just left with no choice but to accept things as it is given to them. The million dollar question is, who is going to bell the cat?
