Exempted in all papers except one

Special Case

Where a student who has got exemptions in all the papers of a group and has failed in one of the papers of the group, he will be declared to have passed the group if he obtains a minimum of 40% in the paper in which he failed.

Example:

  • An attempt:

    I - 69, II - 75, III - 65, IV - 30 Total = 239.Aggregate > 50% ⇒ Fail
In the subsequent exams you need to appear only in IV and obtain a minimum of 40% in it to pass in the group.

taken frm futureaccountant.com   about icwa inter

is there any rule like this??????

mr anyuta or whatever

plz dont post such type of msgs at least in this forum

I dont know the rule of ICWA but if in CA such result is der than unfortunately yes, you have to appear for the IV th subject and have to score 40% in that subject;.

u have to get 50% in the group... its obvious that if in other 3 papers u got 60% (exemption) then in the 4th paper 40 is enough to pass the group...  180+40.. like this u get more than 50% in the group.

Dear Member in next attemp you have to score minimum 50 markes in particular subject. if you will get 40 marks in that subject it means you have not cleared entire group. and finally over all group % will be considered as 50%.
