My Shipper name is different in Bill of lading & commercial Invoice actully i want to put invoice shipper name on my bill of entry, but this name is differ in B/L Copy so can i file invoice shipper details into customs EDI.
Pls suggest me asap.

FIRST OF ALL YOU HAVE TO CORRECT THE COMMERCIAL INVOICE WITH CORRECT SUPPLIER NAME AND ADDRESS.
THEREAFTER ON THE STRENGTH OF AMMENDED INVOICE, ADVISE SHIPPING LINE TO AMMEND THE SUPPLIER DETAILS IN BILL OF LADING. ONCE THE B/L IS AMMENDED BY SHIPPING LINE , THEN YOU CAN FILE THE BILL OF ENTRY WITH CORRECT SHIPPER ADDRESS AND CLEAR THE CONSIGMENT.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION THE IMPORT GENERAL MANIFEST FILED BY SHIPPING LINE TO CUSTOMS, DO NOT HAVE SUPPLIER DETAILS
