Mvat registration for new business of a proprietor

Hello All,

If a proprietor has MVAT TIN number for his business and now if he is starting a new business with different name , is he required to apply for a seperate registration number for the new business or can he use the existing VAT TIN of his existing business?

eg A has hotel business with MVAT TIN now he is starting spare part business with different name of business , is he required to apply for new MVAT TIN for his SPARE PART BUSINESS??
