MVAT Registration done in 2007. TIN allotment letter issued. However, original certificate not taken till date. What is the procedure to get the original certificate ?

Give a letter stating that original certificates has not been collected with cancelled cheque, pan card copy on company letter head.
Court fee stamp of 30 or 40 would be required for it.
The Officer has told me to apply for duplicate certificate with court fee stamp of Rs.30
May be original certificates are printed and not collected thats why officer is insisting for duplicate.
If you want original only go to Advisory cell (2nd floor at Mazgaon). Based on Pin code of your client you can check officer and than request him for the same.
