Yesterday I was there at Chennai airport and there they were showing IPL on TV. A thought came in my mind, why do people in India as well as government of India support Cricket?

Firstly it is not a National game

Secondly just a month ago world cup got over

I mean I really feel bad for crazy people behind cricket

If you notice IPL is there for 59 days almost 2 months. And again we will see the same scene continuing next year. I mean this cricketers are making Indian people handicap (sorry to use that word but truth cannot be denied)

What is a cricket about? Just , a bat, a ball, 3wickets and 11 players? That’s it.

Then why so much importance is given to cricket?

Why are cricketers paid heavily?

I mean I don’t find that they are doing some great job or anything or they helping in making economy for country. In fact all the Payments are made in Dollars ($). I know they deserve in their field, I don’t keep name for their talent. In short there should be some limits in playing matches.

Friends if you ever gave a thought you will come to know how much electricity is being use in stadiums. Here in India there are places where load shedding is more than 12 hours a day. And if we sit and calculate we will come to know how much money is spent on cricket.

India is a country with lots of talented people. I think our government should concentrate on all fields of game rather giving importance to cricket.

And this can happen only we Indians try not to support Cricket.

See I am a girl that’s the reason I don’t like cricket and I am writing this article is nothing like that. I also enjoy cricket but only World Cup (actual challenge).

CAN WE PROFESSIONALS OR FUTURE PROFESSIONALS CANT DO ANYTHING TO HELP PEOPLE IN INDIA OR WRITE GOVERNMENT ABOUT IPL’S??

agree with you. in these days cricket has become only money game. really shamefull

and we r also responsible for that

this is not the question of cricket it happens with every sport

during football matches in European countries or baseball or us football in USA

People like sports nd no1 forces them to do so, its natural

u might be loving sumthing else

Firsly i luv cricket . . . . So may be i m in favour of cricket. . . . I m know the fact and also know only paisa paisa paisa is the motive of ipl but we can not blame govt. for this, this is only a coroporate trophy nothing else. . . . . . Govt. Should help other game like hocky. . . . .i m Watching cricket because i m luving it. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . we should undestand the fact behind this

Peoples are enjoying 12 months regular, same game... I thing this is not enjoy., its killing time....

and smart persons encash the same (dont wana to mention name here)....

but when people come from thier office then they want something to see special rather than Saas Bahu Programmes... U r saying for cricket i.e. its a money game but what about all the ladies programmes and what they are doing now a days just think and give a time to cricket rather than boring programmes...

Point of view is important. . . . . I never watch sasu bahu unlimited drama having no end at all. . . . . I m enjoying cricket and comedy seriel spl. Sab tv seriel and also news. . . . But may be someone having intrest in sas bahu drama and movie. . . .
