Mtce amount is exempted while calculating Income from house on rent

since the house is not given for rent for the FY 2018-19,can I take the Mtce amount paid as exemption for tax apart from municipal taxes paid while calculating Income from house on rent purpose?
since no rent received for the last FY,the calculation amt will come as loss only under the head "income from house ".is it correct?

Do you mean maintenance amount ?
If yes, then you cannot take the maintenance amount because you have only standard deduction of 30% available and no other expense.
In your case since you haven't received rent, you cannot claim maintenance amount as well and file loss under head Income from house property
1.yes maintenance amount monthly paid to association.
2.since I paid taxes for last year, can I claim and show as loss?
